Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes for high-traffic SaaS platforms
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for cloud infrastructure projects
- Optimize database performance in PostgreSQL and Redis environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching strategies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
