Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and technical architecture decisions for payment processing systems
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database queries and API latency to handle 10M+ daily transactions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform for cloud deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and conduct tech talks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in distributed systems design and AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Strong background in financial systems or fintech compliance (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
