Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go, Java, or Python
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure security compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards
- Drive DevOps initiatives including containerization and infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in at least one modern backend framework (Spring, Django, Gin)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching, and database optimization
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Active government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
