Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using AWS and Terraform
- Collaborate with Product Design on user-centric API development
- Drive technical strategy for cloud infrastructure migration
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation labs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Contributions to GitHub or public repositories required
