Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Lead security initiatives including OWASP compliance and data encryption protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade Java applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, etc.) preferred
