Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Go and Python
- Lead architectural decisions for AWS-based cloud infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor 3-4 engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance and security through rigorous testing protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent QuantumLeap at tech conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in RESTful API design and event-driven architectures
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and observability practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with cross-functional teams
- Contributions to open-source repositories or published technical articles
