Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize system performance and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead architectural decisions and conduct technical feasibility studies
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python/Go
- Expertise in distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to optimize complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with agile methodologies and version control (Git)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
