Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead API development and microservices integration for high-traffic fintech applications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using Docker/Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL) and implement caching strategies
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle development in agile environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications (PCI DSS compliance)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
