Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize system performance using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices for PCI-compliant systems
- Contribute to architecture decisions for cloud infrastructure modernization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
