Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical roadmaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for continuous deployment
- Optimize application performance and security across AWS/GCP environments
- Drive technical innovation through prototyping and POC development
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python and modern frameworks
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and data modeling
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest) and TDD/BDD methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
