Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Architect RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLAs for high-traffic financial platforms
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, ECS)
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL) and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at local tech meetups
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record designing secure, scalable APIs for high-volume applications
- Strong SQL skills with database optimization experience
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
