Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs using modern technologies.
- Code Leadership: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimization: Analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance optimizations to ensure low latency and high throughput.
- DevOps Integration: Collaborate with the DevOps team to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Frameworks: Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or React.
- Databases: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Cloud: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and debugging skills with a focus on edge cases and data integrity.
