Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and React
- Optimize system performance for high-transaction financial APIs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Ensure security compliance and data protection standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Proven track record with RESTful API design and database optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
