Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS Lambda and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog content
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis clusters
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and JWT protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Terraform
- Strong background in event-driven architecture and message queues
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
- Active security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
