Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across engineering teams
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize application performance and resolve production bottlenecks
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation
- Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and load testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java, Python, or Node.js)
- Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
