Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend services using Go and Python
- Lead design sessions for microservices integration and cloud-native deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize system performance and reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in distributed systems design and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in data structures and algorithm optimization
