Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Python on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Champion DevOps best practices including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Conduct system architecture reviews and performance tuning
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience with backend development (Go/Python preferred)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and data modeling
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design abilities
- Experience mentoring technical teams of 3+ engineers
