Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend systems using microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for seamless deployments
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure product quality
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend strategic tech stack improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
