Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Java/Python and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead technical initiatives for high-transaction payment processing systems
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Drive DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to architectural decisions for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java/Python with strong knowledge of concurrent programming
- Proven track record building RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to optimize complex algorithms
