Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance to handle 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and GitLab
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement DevSecOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least one: Java, Python, or Go
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
