Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-based microservices using AWS/GCP and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Optimize application performance and security using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation labs
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to modern architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database optimization
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
