Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Python/Java on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural sessions
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker/Kubernetes
- Lead technical investigations of production incidents
- Drive API-first design strategies for RESTful services
- Contribute to open-source initiatives aligned with company goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Proven track record with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to public GitHub repositories
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Experience with event-driven architectures
