Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment efficiency
- Lead architectural decisions for high-traffic fintech applications
- Champion DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Drive test automation initiatives with JUnit and Selenium
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong grasp of data structures and algorithmic problem-solving
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
