Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 during weekend shifts.
- Perform triage, analysis, and containment of security breaches.
- Conduct daily log reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence team to identify emerging threats.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
- Assist in the implementation of security patches and updates.
- Escalate complex issues to senior leadership when necessary.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SOC or Information Security.
- Experience working in 24/7 or shift-based environments is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK).
- Familiarity with firewall administration and network protocols.
