Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and next-generation firewalls.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security gaps before they are exploited.
- Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime.
- Develop and execute security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks in alignment with NIST and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and penetration testing to validate system defenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network and application security.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security tools (Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
