Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for cloud-native applications
- Optimize system performance, reducing latency by 40% in key workflows
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 10K+ developers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go and at least one JVM language (Java/Scala)
- Deep understanding of AWS/GCP infrastructure and serverless architectures
- Experience with event-driven patterns and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Strong background in data modeling and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of leading successful technical migrations
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
