Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable quantum processors and error correction protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, AI researchers, and software engineers to optimize algorithmic performance and stability.
- Oversee the integration of quantum hardware with classical cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Define best practices for quantum software development, deployment pipelines, and security protocols.
- Conduct rigorous research to identify emerging trends in quantum supremacy and post-quantum cryptography.
- Mentor junior architects and engineering teams in advanced quantum computing methodologies and coding standards.
- Present technical strategies to executive stakeholders and drive technical decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, with a strong focus on high-performance computing (HPC) or quantum computing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum SDKs (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, quantum gates, superposition, and entanglement.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
