Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on quantum processors
- Lead research projects targeting quantum advantage in computational chemistry and materials science
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals/conferences
- Translate theoretical models into executable code using quantum programming frameworks
- Partner with industry leaders to solve real-world problems with quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (Quil, ProjectQ) and cloud quantum platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
