Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans, scripts, and checklists covering functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver and Cypress for regression testing suites
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement preventive solutions
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and mobile platforms
- Validate API functionality using Postman and SOAP UI for RESTful and SOAP services
- Generate quality metrics reports and actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA workflow
- Strong understanding of SQL for database testing and validation
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter or LoadRunner)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in defect documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
