Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and TestRail with precise severity ratings
- Develop test cases covering functional, regression, usability, and performance scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolutions
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and improve test coverage
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to optimize QA processes
- Maintain detailed test documentation and quality metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems (TestRail, Xray)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile development frameworks
- Experience with cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and responsive design validation
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia) and basic SQL queries
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and systematic problem-solving approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear defect reporting
- Ability to self-manage projects and work independently with flexible schedules
