Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management systems
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to validate requirements
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scripts covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Conduct usability testing and provide actionable feedback for product improvements
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and database systems
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent QA credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
