Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and execute manual/automated test cases across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity metrics
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium/Cypress for regression testing
- Conduct cross-browser compatibility testing on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge environments
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Collaborate with Agile teams during sprint planning, retrospectives, and release ceremonies
- Analyze test metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Maintain and update test documentation in Confluence/TestRail
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Expertise in manual testing methodologies and defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Proficiency in automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing responsive web applications and RESTful APIs
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credential preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
