Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans to identify software defects and ensure optimal functionality
- Document test cases, results, and bugs using JIRA with clear, actionable descriptions
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in sprint cycles
- Perform regression testing on web and mobile applications across multiple browsers/devices
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain and update QA documentation including test scripts and user scenarios
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and suggest process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience testing responsive web applications and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java) and automation frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
