Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and scripts covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Automate test cases using Selenium/Cypress while maintaining regression test suites
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using JIRA with clear reproducible steps
- Perform exploratory testing and usability analysis on web/mobile applications
- Collaborate with Agile teams during sprint planning, retrospectives, and release cycles
- Develop test data management strategies and environment configuration
- Analyze test metrics to identify quality trends and improvement opportunities
- Mentor junior QA engineers on testing best practices and tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS/web application testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
- Experience with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Proficient in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and performance testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
