Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document test cases, defects, and results using industry-standard tools like JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and prioritize testing efforts
- Perform regression testing, usability testing, and compatibility checks across devices/browsers
- Analyze test data to identify trends and suggest process improvements
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with a focus on web/mobile applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (Java/Python)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC processes
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA) and test management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Certification (ISTQB) considered a plus
