Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scenarios covering functional, regression, and usability aspects
- Collaborate with developers using Agile/Scrum methodologies to resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Implement performance and security testing protocols
- Maintain test documentation and improve testing frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies (SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum)
- Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
