Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scripts using industry-standard tools like JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, UX) to prioritize and resolve critical bugs
- Document test results with detailed defect reports including reproduction steps and severity assessments
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and suggest process improvements
- Maintain test environments and test data integrity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with hands-on experience in functional, regression, and smoke testing
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in remote teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
