Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, usability, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity levels and detailed reproduction steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to prioritize testing efforts
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential user experience issues
- Validate product requirements against technical specifications and industry standards
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Maintain and optimize test environments to ensure consistent testing conditions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience with software/web applications
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case development
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
