Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium/Cypress and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect lifecycle management in JIRA with 95%+ resolution SLAs
- Perform exploratory testing and root cause analysis for complex system issues
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
- Collaborate with product owners to define acceptance criteria
- Document test artifacts and maintain QA process documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ in automated testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent automation frameworks
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and data-driven testing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent
- Proven track record in API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) testing environments
