Job Summary:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate software functionality. You will work closely with product managers and developers to identify defects early in the development cycle and ensure our applications meet the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Execute automated regression suites and analyze results to identify trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for continuous validation.
- Perform API testing (REST, GraphQL) to ensure backend functionality and data integrity.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to code reviews.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java programming languages.
- Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
