Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, and API layers
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management systems
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
- Maintain and enhance test infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with SQL database testing and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
- Proven track record of reducing defect rates by 40%+ in previous roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
