Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated test frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Lead API testing with Postman/RestAssured for microservices architecture
- Implement performance/load testing with JMeter/Gatling
- Create comprehensive test documentation and defect reports in JIRA
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and CI/CD integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality gate compliance
- Analyze test metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA automation with 3+ years in Selenium/Cypress
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Strong programming skills in Python/Java/JavaScript
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification or equivalent
- Experience with SQL database testing and performance tuning
- Familiarity with aerospace/defense industry standards (DO-178C preferred)
- Proven track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
