Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Cypress
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Execute manual and automated tests across web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate QA processes into sprint cycles
- Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports using JIRA and Confluence
- Implement performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) for scalability validation
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
- Strong experience with programming languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Proven track record in test-driven development and continuous integration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
