Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex web applications and APIs
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing
- Lead root cause analysis for critical defects using JIRA and defect tracking tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and testing methodologies
- Continuously improve testing frameworks and introduce new testing innovations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA testing experience with 3+ years in automation
- Expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing with Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
