Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to engineering leadership
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech/enterprise software
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for test automation
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with performance and security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Proven track record of reducing bug rates by 40%+ through automation
