Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary models
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version-controlled templates for diverse use cases
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to refine prompt effectiveness
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into production systems
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt development across the organization
- Stay current with emerging AI research and prompt engineering methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt optimization techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI field
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for production-level LLM applications
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Excellent written communication and ability to translate complex concepts into clear prompts
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
