Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries for diverse AI applications including chatbots, content generation, and data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into existing AI systems
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate prompt performance and iterate based on quantitative metrics
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create technical guidelines for development teams
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and adapt prompt strategies to new model capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or natural language processing
- Proven track record of designing prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or similar advanced LLMs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex AI output metrics
