Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex prompt engineering frameworks for large language models
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model capabilities
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to maximize output quality
- Create documentation for prompt libraries and best practices
- Lead workshops on prompt engineering techniques for cross-functional teams
- Research and implement advanced techniques like chain-of-thought prompting
- Maintain prompt versioning and performance tracking systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years in AI/NLP or prompt engineering roles
- Expertise with GPT-4, Claude, and open-source LLMs
- Strong Python programming and API integration skills
- Proven track record of optimizing AI output quality
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow)
- Published research in NLP or related fields preferred
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
