Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex prompt architectures to maximize the performance and accuracy of generative AI models.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analysis of model outputs to refine prompt strategies and improve response quality.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into our core product development lifecycle.
- Establish and document prompt libraries, style guides, and evaluation metrics to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and LLM research to innovate and apply new techniques to our workflows.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and stakeholders on effective AI interaction and prompt engineering principles.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, copywriting, or a related field with a strong emphasis on logic and structure.
- Proven experience working directly with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, PaLM) and prompt engineering frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and machine learning model limitations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and formulate precise, iterative solutions.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript is a plus but not strictly required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.
