Responsibilities
- Architect Complex Prompt Chains: Design and implement sophisticated multi-step prompt strategies to maximize the accuracy and coherence of LLM outputs for complex enterprise use cases.
- Model Optimization & Tuning: Continuously evaluate, refine, and fine-tune prompts for various models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama 3) to achieve optimal performance benchmarks.
- AI Workflow Integration: Integrate prompt engineering best practices into broader AI workflows, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and autonomous agent systems.
- Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and testing protocols to assess model hallucinations and logic errors.
- Creative Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define the 'persona' and behavioral guidelines for AI agents to ensure they align with brand voice and user intent.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists in the principles of prompt engineering and natural language processing (NLP).
Qualifications
- Proven Expertise: 4+ years of experience in Prompt Engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related AI field with a demonstrable portfolio of successful projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of LLM architecture, transformer models, and tokenization strategies. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and API integration.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into structured, solvable prompts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools & Tech: Experience with prompt engineering tools, A/B testing frameworks, and version control (Git).
